• The Lattimore collection of English language materials housed at the library of the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies.

• PhD dissertations related to Inner Asia
• Archive of MacArthur project 1991–5 on environmental and cultural conservation in Inner Asia.
• Recently acquired collection of books on Kalmykia
• Small collections of maps, photographs and remotely sensed images
